Design Technology Teacher

St Annes RC Voluntary Academy is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to join our dedicated team, delivering high-quality teaching to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for excellent professional development within a supportive department, as well as for experienced teachers seeking a rewarding new challenge.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver stimulating and well-structured Design Technology lessons in line with the school curriculum.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best and develop a love for Design Technology.
Contribute positively to the wider school community and departmental initiatives.
Support students’ preparation for external assessments and examinations.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience or training in Design Technology.
Ability to deliver engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
Please specify your specialism(s) in your application; a second specialism in Textiles or Food Technology is highly desirable.

Main Scale / Upper Pay Scale (MS/UPS)
